The Daily Herald reported on the City consolidating customer service desks. The new customer service center will be at the remodeled City Center lobby. The new location will handle utility payments, answer billing questions, process reports of city-related problems and answer general city-related questions. In addition, some transactions, applications, payments, recreation signups and more will be handled at the city center.
But don't head to the City Center looking for it just yet. It should be up and running sometime in the first quarter of 2012.
