Provo City will celebrate the 10-year anniversary of the 2002 Winter Olympics at the Peaks Ice Arena, 100 N. Seven Peaks Blvd., on Friday, February 10, 2012, during public skating, from 7-9:30 p.m. Patrons who wear Olympic-themed clothing or memorabilia will get half off the cost of admission and skate rental for the night. There will be a special presentation by Provo Mayor John Curtis and former CFO/COO of the Salt Lake Organizing Committee for the 2002 Winter Olympics, Fraser Bullock, at 8 p.m. An Olympic torch will be lit and displayed at center ice during the public skating session.
