Know Before You Go

You probably have noticed all the construction surrounding the intersection of University Parkway and Sandhill Road. Please be aware that between May 14 and May 18 there will be restrictions 24 hours a day at that intersection that may make alternative routes preferable.

Left hand turns will not be allowed from Sandhill Road onto the Parkway at anytime during these construction days. If you approach this intersection from the south, and want to make a left turn onto the Parkway -- to the I-15 on ramp or to get to Geneva Road-- you can use the roundabout at UVU to make that a right turn instead.

UDOT is transforming this intersection into what is called a CFI intersection. If you are familiar with Bangerter Highway in Salt Lake County, you may have encountered this sort of intersection. It will likely seem strange at first but it is designed to move traffic more efficiently.
