The I-Core folks are warning us to plan ahead. They announced the closure of 820 N where it passes under the Interstate for up to six days starting on Tuesday, July 26th. They suggest using Center Street or 2000 N (2000 S Orem) as alternate routes.
Be aware that Center Street has a scheduled closure as well. The southbound offramp at Center Street will be closed for about three months starting in mid-August. That means that drivers from the north (Orem, Salt Lake City, etc) will not be able to use the Center Street exit to get into Provo. They will either exit at University Parkway or University Avenue at the south end of town.
Pleasant Grove Blvd, Orem 1600 N, and Spanish Fork Main Street also have scheduled closures related to road construction. For details see the I-Core website.
They are touting their progress on a You-tube video. The extra information helps us to put up with all the inconvenience of the construction.
