Eagle Scout Project ideas

If you know of a prospective Eagle Scout in search of a project, have him contact Chris Blinzinger, Provo's Emergency Management Coordinator, at 801-404-6368 (Cell) or 801-852-6455 (Office).

Alternatively, the Governor's Office for Literacy has a need for book drives to provide gently used books to Title 1 schools in need. Call Deon Turley for more information on this. Deon 801-377-5668.

It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!

It is that time of year to look for an outstanding Provo home that displays pride of ownership and contributes to the visual holiday lighting, decoration and beautification of their Provo Neighborhood.

Every year, the Provo Neighborhood Program, under the direction of the Municipal Council, sponsors an award for Residential Holiday Lighting and Decoration. Neighborhood Chairs are allowed to nominate home for consideration of this award.

Winners will receive their awards at the first Council meeting of the year, January 3, 2012 at 7:00 pm.
